I am Nolan J. Downs. I am an animator, director, and writer interested in narrative animation and compelling characters. I started my filmmaking career with Shmevolution (2016) which screened at Ann Arbor Film Festival and Chicago International Film Festival. I’ve been continuing the practice since, finding great comfort and comradery in the independent animation community.

I’m a highly qualified 2D animator, and I'm always open to talk about new projects and collaborations.
